What a fabulous yet stressful month! I can't wait until quiet January invades, and I can begin to fully flesh out our moving plans and fix up my poor sad little excuses for Etsy shops.
In the meantime, I'll share a little bit of why I've been so absent. I've had a decent holiday season for my shops, and also had a marvelous family holiday. We had a great 25th with my in-laws, and Emmett loved his new bike! We then drove to visit some old college friends of mine in Valparaiso, the town of my college days. We visited and watched our children play together in the snow, and much fun was had. I also was able to meet up with my photography mentor, and she promptly overloaded my son with Christmas cookies, which made him a fan for life.
Next, we had a trip down to the southern part of the state to visit my parents and have a belated holiday visit. Yesterday we made it home and attended a going-away party for a friend. Tonight we will be spending the new year with my in-laws. Whew!
In other words, life returning to normal is a must for the introvert in me. Otherwise I might just sit in a corner and whimper.
Here are a few photos from the Valpo visit:
He can't wait for more snow...
In other news, my dear team member Molly of MollyFinds and MollysMuses let me do a tutorial for my geometric ornaments for her blog-I am so happy to have it out there! Thanks, Molly!
